This is another mythical name: Silverstone. You can’t understand the World Championship without a GP in the UK, where this two-wheeled competition was more or less invented. Tradition, experience, racing knowledge… and the rain! are some of the hallmarks of the Silverstone GP. So is that special way that the British have of understanding a racing weekend. While in the rest of the championship the spectators are made up of individuals, at Donington Park before and at Silverstone now seeing whole families in the meadows surrounding the track is commonplace.
Until last year it was the northernmost GP on the calendar, a ‘title’ that has changed hands with the return of the Finnish GP to the championship… Welcome to Silverstone.
But there are times when you are lucky enough to get up in the morning and find yourself on a day like this. And then Silverstone becomes the best place to be.
The entrances to the circuit are well organized. They’ve organized a few races at Silverstone, haven’t they?
